Risks & Vulnerabilities: Attack Vector
Analyze an attack vector and use the provided information to identify critical assets that can be remediated to reduce the attack surface
-
Navigate to
Risks & Vulnerabilities>Attack Vector. -
In the center of your screen, a potential Attack Vector will be shown. An attack vector is a potential pathway to critical assets, and Claroty models how the attacker could potentially move through the enviornment and impact other assets.
- These potential movements are detailed under Attack Chain on the right side of the page.
- These potential movements are detailed under Attack Chain on the right side of the page.
-
Select Target Zone, choose an alternate zone within, and note the new attack vector displayed.
- Each attack vector shows a diferent potential attack pathway.
- These attack vectors help visualize vulnerable assets, allowing remediation to be enacted with further context.
-
Right-clicking on one of the attack vector nodes will take you to that asset’s page.
